Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most influential technologies of our time. However, unlike other older technologies, its history is not finished. Important advances appear almost every month.

For this reason, when we search on the internet for a timeline of the history of AI, we often find versions that are too general or not up to date. The goal of this activity will be to research and build our own timeline, selecting the milestones that we consider most relevant.

To do this you will need to:

• Research by looking for information in different sources. Remember that in these pages we have already discussed some important moments in the history of AI, so review the texts.
• Select the most relevant events. Explain each milestone clearly. For each event include: year or date, description, and, if possible, an image or visual resource.
• Organize the information chronologically, from the oldest to the most recent (include at least two milestones that occurred in the last 3 months).

An additional challenge: keep it updated. The history of AI is still being written right now.

You can create your timeline with digital tools that allow interactivity and future updates, for example TimelineJS, Canva, or Genially. Some of these tools will also allow you to add images, videos, links, etc., which will make your work more attractive and easier to explore. The visual design will be assessed: clarity and hierarchy of the information, readability, and aesthetics.

Your timeline must include a minimum of 15 milestones.

Include a diversity of milestones: scientific, technical, social, economic, political advances, etc.
